Summerville, S.C. – SCRA’s entrepreneurial program, SC Launch, Inc., recently finalized a $200,000 investment for TerraStride, a software technology company based in Columbia, SC.

TerraStride has two product lines: HuntStand, the number one hunting and land management app on the market, and TerraStride Pro, a market-leading land brokerage software. The company recently announced milestone growth for the HuntStand app, which surpassed the one million download mark putting it in the top percentile of both the Google Play and iTunes App stores. Outdoor Life also recognized HuntStand with an Editor’s Choice Award for best in-field smartphone app.

This is the second tranche of SC Launch funding for the company, which was accepted as a Client Company in 2014. The funds will be used to expand TerraStride’s team and to market products throughout the country.

“We are very pleased that SC Launch has decided to invest in TerraStride once again. Their support has been an invaluable resource to our company and we look forward to strengthening our association,” said Lanford Holloway, TerraStride Founder and CEO.

“TerraStride is accomplishing remarkable milestones and it is exciting to see the company’s growth,” said Bob Quinn, Executive Director of SCRA.
