SCRA Announces SC Launch, Inc. Investment in Global Transplant Solutions

Summerville, S.C. – SCRA’s entrepreneurial program, SC Launch, Inc., recently finalized a $200,000 investment for Global Transplant Solutions, located in Duncan, SC. The company was accepted as an SC Launch Client Company in April 2017 and received a $15,000 Project Development Fund Grant in the same year.

Global Transplant Solutions is developing products for the human organ procurement and transplant marketplace. They currently supply a complete portfolio of organ preservation solutions to the Canadian transplant market and have received FDA clearance for their first product in the United States. The company is awaiting FDA clearance for their second US product and plans to gain FDA clearance for four additional solutions, which together will represent 99% of all organ preservation solutions used worldwide. Global Transplant Solutions currently has distribution agreements established with several national and international partners. They have offices in Duncan, SC at Spartanburg Community College’s Spark Center SC and Toronto, Canada. The investment will be used to finalize global sales, develop proprietary products and further their research efforts.
