SCRA Announces New Member Companies and Grant Funding

Summerville, S.C. – Glossifi and SiteLabs were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Builder Rocket, CloseWise, Drobot, and PeriopHealth, received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.

Builder Rocket LLC received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Spartanburg-based information technology company provides a construction estimating software that builds a comprehensive customer product storyboard and estimating template that shares information among builders, clients, distributors, and contractors.

CloseWise LLC received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Lexington-based information technology company provides a notary database and scheduling software developed for signing agents, signing services, and title and escrow companies in order to digitalize the signing process.

Drobot, Inc. received a $25,000 Demonstration Grant. The Greenville-based information technology company’s patent-pending approach enables innovative capabilities and behaviors, and makes autonomous mobile robots more capable, affordable, and scalable. Using their approach, autonomous mobile robots can navigate large and dynamic real-world environments.

Glossifi Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The West Columbia-based software development company builds a blockchain analytics service for Ethereum and is also building a protocol to improve security and user experience for digital assets on web3.

PeriopHealth LLC received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Charleston-based startup offers a surgical instrument management solution that creates a real-time perpetual inventory, reduces waste, and helps to optimize instrument workflows and quality in sterile environments.

SiteLabs LLC has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Seneca-based life science company offers an automated testing process, easy access to testing supplies, and excellent pricing to help independent pharmacies serve the healthcare needs of the community while still managing a profitable business.

SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates those that received funding.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund (IPF) contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
