SCRA Announces New Member Companies and Grant Funding

Summerville, S.C. – Artemis Structural Intelligence, Drobot, and Tree3.ai were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Drobot and NeuroHope Therapeutics received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.

Artemis Structural Intelligence Corporation has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based information technology company provides advanced structural health monitoring technologies for critical infrastructure including mines, tunnels, buildings, roads, bridges, industrial machinery, public transport, and aeronautics and space.

Drobot, Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company and received a $25,000 Demonstration Grant. The Greenville-based information technology company’s patent-pending approach enables innovative capabilities and behaviors, and makes autonomous mobile robots more capable, affordable, and scalable. Using their approach, autonomous mobile robots can navigate large and dynamic real-world environments.

NeuroHope Therapeutics, Inc. received a $25,000 Academic Startup Grant. The Greenville-based life science company has developed an innovation that includes nanotechnology for combinatorial drug and gene delivery. The initial use is for the regeneration and repair of the central nervous system.

Tree3.ai LLC has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Columbia-based information technology company generates a comprehensive, accurate, and unified source of structured property data that enhances speed, security, and transparency within the real estate ecosystem.

SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates those that received funding.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund (IPF) contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
