Jon-Michial Carter is the Founder and Chief Growth Officer for ChartSpan Medical Technologies, Inc. (ChartSpan). ChartSpan provides managed Medicare value-based care programs to health systems and medical practices around the United States. ChartSpan’s headquarters are located in Greenville, South Carolina.
During the past 25 years, Jon-Michial has held c-level and executive positions at companies like Iconixx (sold to nGenera), American Equity (sold to BAGL), nCent (sold to BSG), Heritage Broadcasting, and Viacom. He has raised more than $100 million dollars in venture capital and developed a patent for the mobile indexing of healthcare records on a mobile device.
He is currently an SCRA Business and Science Advisory (Cybersecurity) Board Member, on the Board of Directors of ChartSpan Medical, and on the Board of Advisors for Sprockets. He is a Sommelier, Winemaker, and the Proprietor of Carter Family Wines in Greenville, South Carlina. He earned a BS in Human Resources from Friends University. Jon-Michial spends time volunteering and supporting regional organizations that support entrepreneurship as well as providing mentorship to individual start-ups.
