We are pleased to present a series of webinars to share the basics of taking innovation from the lab to market. These sessions are hosted by the reputable tech transfer consulting firm, Fuentek.
The series will include the following topics:

• Anatomy of Agreements – what types of agreements are needed when, and what are the most important parts

The instructors, Laura Schoppe and Rebecca Stoughton from Fuentek, have decades of experience in supporting technology transfer from universities, government labs, research hospitals, and corporations. Though publications are the currency of academia, it doesn’t mean you can’t also have a patent related to the research. This webinar will describe the different kinds of intellectual property that may be created from research, break down the components of a patent, describe why it is an important part of technology transfer, and layout the steps and why timing of those steps matters.
