Summerville, SC – South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) announces its affiliate, SC Launch, Inc.’s, investment of $200,000 in Reporting Xpress, Inc. The Columbia-based startup is an online reporting solution for nonprofits and their end-users.

Reporting Xpress became an SCRA Member Company in 2019, successfully progressed through the SC Launch program, and received an Acceleration Grant. They became an SC Launch, Inc. Portfolio Company when they received this investment.

Reporting Xpress is the solution for nonprofits looking for an automated reporting solution that frees their valuable time to spend on more strategic efforts. Their cloud-based platform integrates with Blackbaud’s Financial Edge NXT and Raiser’s Edge NXT. Some of its features include advanced security, the ability to combine data from multiple systems into a single report, maximum report design flexibility, text or email alerts, and the ability to generate custom reports in any format, Excel, .CSV, PDF, HTML, etc.

“Companies that use technology to solve problems or improve processes are the ones in which we want to invest. Reporting Xpress developed a cloud-based solution that helps their customers have easier access to information that is typically buried in complex financial and enterprise reporting systems,” said Lee MacIlwinen, SCRA Investment Manager.

“SCRA continues to be a supportive partner in our business. We’ve honed our product and are proud of what we’ve developed. Having SCRA’s support and a solution that our customers need is why we are on track for even more growth. Our product was designed by CPAs with many years of experience in nonprofit accounting and management, which provides a unique perspective. We know exactly what our customers need and how they need it,” said Joel Weinbach, Reporting Xpress Co-Founder and CEO.

“We’re excited to be on this journey with Reporting Xpress. We continue to be impressed by their capabilities and look forward to their continued growth,” said Bob Quinn, SCRA Executive Director. “Their platform turns data into easily accessible and digestible reports.
