Columbia, S.C. – IOVue and Sharpvue were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Advent Innovations, Qatalyst Health, Tikvah Health and Wellness, Treblehook, Realize Ascent Labs, and Ripple Two received new grant funding.
All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching and access to SCRA’s Member Benefits and Startup Resources, can apply for grant funding, and have the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
Advent Innovations received a $25,000 Demonstration Grant. The Columbia-based advanced materials and manufacturing startup integrates agricultural sensors, robotics, and artificial intelligence on a single digital platform for the agricultural industry. Their innovative solutions provide advanced analysis that results in better crop growth.
IOVue was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Mount Pleasant-based information technology startup’s device delivers real-time, continuous intraocular pressure readings for both clinical and at-home use. The patient-friendly platform is an alternative to traditional tonometry, enabling early detection and continuous monitoring, empowering physicians to intervene before vision loss becomes irreversible.
Qatalyst Health received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Charleston-based information technology startup developed proprietary software for skilled nursing facilities. Their software instantly integrates with patients’ electronic medical records to digitize and update relevant Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement forms.
Realize Ascent Labs received a $25,000 Academic Startup Grant. The Charleston-based information technology startup provides innovative and cost-effective laboratory and in-the-field analysis solutions that drive clarity, quality, and profitability across agriculture, food, and manufacturing supply chains. Realize Ascent’s services include high-accuracy 3D scanning, parts trial management, 3D printing and custom fixtures, and technology partnerships.
Ripple Two received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Charleston-based information technology startup developed secure communication solutions for public safety, civilian, and defense personnel. Its solution provides enhanced situational awareness, integration options with existing communication equipment, and other innovative features.
Sharpvue was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Chapin-based information technology startup’s off-grid mobile AI video surveillance solution delivers advanced security and monitoring systems that ensure safety, efficiency, and peace of mind. Sharpvue’s MAST is an enterprise-grade, open platform mobile AI surveillance trailer that delivers securely streamed 24/7 video to their cloud-based data center.
Tikvah Health and Wellness received a $25,000 Academic Startup Grant. The Mount Pleasant-based life science startup has developed the Tikvah community-based platform that harnesses the advantages of both natural and conventional medicine, delivering authentic care and pragmatic solutions.
Treblehook received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Greenville-based information technology startup is an Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) CRM platform, purpose-built for project lifecycle and pursuit management. By leveraging the power of Salesforce, TrebleHook offers a comprehensive solution that integrates seamlessly into your workflow.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by SCRA’s tax credit program, the Industry Partnership Fund, and its contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
