“I had people at SC Launch who listened to my story and they believed in it.”

Chris Brunson, Founder, PEC360

PEC360 creates Patient Engagement Centers (PEC’s) for healthcare organizations that are designed to proactively identify, manage and engage patients with healthcare needs. The company makes this a reality by continuously innovating its healthcare technology platform – a platform based on a centralized healthcare data hub, analytics, and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that formats the workflows needed to support PEC “Care Advisors” in all forms of population health and patient engagement activities. The company’s unique approach to CRM for the healthcare industry has allowed them establish footholds in South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. They plan on being in every state in the Southeast within the next few years.

In 2010 the company received a Project Development Fund Grant (PDF) then in 2011, received a $200,000 investment from SC Launch, Inc. Within six months of that investment they were seeing profits. SCRA’s mentoring led Chris to hire the company’s CEO, Nick Glover, who was an original founder of what is now known as WebMD. Chris and Nick are focused on bringing jobs to South Carolina and remind their employees every day that they are saving lives. In 2017 the company received a second tranche of $250,000 from SC Launch, Inc.
