Companies must reach beyond their four walls to build their teams, solve technical challenges, understand their markets, navigate location considerations, and access relevant funding and incentives. This presentation will provide an overview of the relationships and resources that companies should prioritize in order to advance and ease their pathway to growth in South Carolina.

Heather leads MRB Group’s local government services team in South Carolina, supporting clients in organizational development, human resources best practices, and economic development. She has over 20 years of economic development and local government experience as a chief executive officer, director, and local government administrator. She has served in public, private, and non-profit leadership roles. She is a former president of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association.
A native of South Carolina, Jones grew up in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Clemson University, and is a certified economic developer in South Carolina. She has announced over $2 billion in capital investment within the State of South Carolina.

Alyson is an economic development thought leader, analyst, project manager, and grant writer. She has served a wide range of constituents in both strategic and tactical economic development programming. As a statewide economic development executive, Alyson developed and implemented entrepreneurial support programming and innovation-driven economic growth initiatives. She has supported her projects and clients through application development and management of nearly $50 million in successful grant applications. Alyson is originally from Charleston, SC.
