SCRA's R&D Facilities

SCRA’s R&D Facilities are a sustaining economic development asset. To complement its existing locations, SCRA is deploying 3 new Innovation Centers to accelerate commercialization of research discoveries.

SCRA developed and currently manages a Research Parks System with locations in Charleston, Columbia and Anderson. With well over 950,000 square feet of Class A office space within our research parks, we support a variety of space adaptable to most any knowledge-based business. In addition to office space, SCRA offers a variety of meeting and conference rooms with presentation equipment and videoconferencing. Each facility is equipped with next generation internet, teleconferencing capabilities, and an expansive IT infrastructure base.

SCRA’s research parks are home to a diverse tenant base, including such organizations and businesses as the College of Charleston, Boeing, Vought, Webster University and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance. SCRA is actively supporting and recruiting new tenants that promote knowledge economy growth in all areas of the state.
