SCRA Named 9th Fastest Growing Company by SC Chamber
Awards Announced at Chamber's 32nd Annual Summit

Charleston, SC - December 5, 2011 - SCRA, a leading applied research and technology services company in South Carolina, today announced its receipt of the SC Chamber of Commerce's 25 Fastest Growing Companies award. SCRA was the 9th fastest growing company in the state and received the recognition at a ceremony at the Chamber's annual meeting in Wild Dunes.

In Fiscal Year 2011, SCRA's revenues totaled more than $195 million, up 13 percent from FY10. The record revenues plus a backlog of $405 million indicate strong, continued future growth. Since 2005, SCRA revenues have grown from $74 million to $195 million.

"We are delighted to have received this distinct honor," said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. "SCRA continues to grow steadily, and our growth has a tremendous impact on South Carolina's Knowledge Economy - bringing forth high-paying, technical jobs and innovative technologies in our state. I would like to thank our employees for their hard work and dedication to the company, and I congratulate our clients, partners and stakeholders who join us in receiving this prestigious distinction."

The Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies rankings, presented by The Capital Corporation, began in 2002 and are determined using a weighted equation tied to increases in gross revenues and full-time employment. Other sponsors of the event were Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP and Integrated Media Publishing (publisher of Greenville Business Magazine, Pee Dee Business Journal and Columbia Business Monthly). The SC Chamber of Commerce continued in their role as associate sponsor.
