Third Cycle for Project Proposals Now Open for SC-Israel Collaborative Industry R&D Projects

  Israel Agreement signing
  Bilateral Agreement signed on 10/15/2013

SCRA and the Israeli Industry Center for R&D (MATIMOP) have jointly set the timeline for the third cycle of project proposals in support of the collaborative industrial research and development program established in a 2013 agreement between the Government of the State of South Carolina and the Government of the State of Israel. Applications for the current cycle will be accepted until 1 March 2016; full proposals will be invited on or before 29 March 2016, and full proposals, if invited, will be due no later than 1 June 2016.

This cycle will follow the same procedures as the preceding cycle, which recently completed with the announcement of the round two project selection. The application and proposal preparation guidelines can be found in the current RFP, linked immediately below. The Industry R&D Program seeks to facilitate and promote bilateral industrial R&D projects between entities from South Carolina and from Israel. Industrial R&D projects must involve at least one South Carolina – based company and one Israeli R&D company. SCRA will execute the funding agreement with the SC partner on behalf of the state of South Carolina.
