Recent Architectural Projects
Composite Art Bar Project for the Miami Project SCRA Commercial Solutions recently produced a bar for the FXFOWLE Lounge within the Miami Project, a contemporary art fair in Miami, Florida (brochure). New York architectural firm FXFOWLE designed the piece, which blends the aesthetic nature of sculpture with the functional aspects of interior architectural elements. The bar incorporates recycled material, specifically derived from old aircraft components. This material offers remarkable tensile strength and flexibility and can adjust to any mold. The process from conception to completion was documented on the SCRA Blog. This project demonstrates SCRA’s ability to produce components with the flowing organic shapes expressed in visionary architectural designs.
