Proterra announces they will locate a facility for research and development as well as assembly of its products at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville. They will be making battery run heavy duty buses and vehicles, investing $68 million and create more than 1,300 new jobs over the next seven years in Greenville County.
